It’s always nice to see one my photographs featured on a printed brochure or online media. I recently came across a local publication featuring one of my photographs of the Edina City Hall in Edina Minnesota.
This publication is handed out to all new residents of the city. You can view the original photograph at http://gallery.chipjonesphotography.com/landscape/minnesota/edina/.
The primary reason I highlight this photograph is because I did not receive any credit in this publication for it.
I would like to remind anyone that any photograph or artwork that I’ve created is protected by U.S. copyright law. This copyright protection applies to all of my photographs, artwork and writings by default, unless there is a prior written agreement stating that I am relinquishing my ownership and copyright privileges to that photograph, artwork or writing.
If you’re interested in this topic (photography and copyright law), there’s a great non-legal speak article about it at http://blog.kenkaminesky.com/photography-copyright-and-the-law/.
