An Early Spring in Minnesota

Springtime at the Minnesota ArboretumSpring has come really early in Minnesota this year and the ice at Lake Minnetonka (about 10 miles west of downtown Minneapolis) has melted about three weeks earlier than normal.

I was out at one of my favorite photography spots and captured this image of a flower blooming in a green house before time for planting. It seems that all of mother nature is anticipating an early start to spring!
